BITS-RMIT PHD PROGRAM

 There are 2 fully funded PhD positions with me as part of BITS Pilani (India) - RMIT University (Australia) joint PhD program. The application portal is open till 26th September (https://lnkd.in/dRqXM_h6). 

1.  Accelerated materials discovery for next generation Li-ion batteries (Project ID: BITSRMIT24101169) - to be jointly supervised by Prof. Michelle Spencer (RMIT). Candidates with Masters degree in

 Chemistry/Physics/Materials Engineering/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or allied areas with experience in performing density functional theory calculations will be preferred. 

2. Predictive modeling of electrode-electrolyte aging using chemistry-informed machine learning techniques (Project ID: BITSRMIT100068) - to be jointly supervised by Prof. Ivan Cole (RMIT) and Prof. Usha Iyer-Raniga (RMIT). Candidates with MTech/MSc in Chemistry, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical engineering, or Data Science will be preferred with background in batteries and/or machine learning.
